NuRelm earned its 8(a) status November 12th, 2003.  Becoming a recognized 8(a) firm has helped us to service government agencies faster because they are allowed to purchase directly from an 8(a) firm.

NuRelm's 8(a) status enables us to:

• receive sole-source contracts
• contract directly with Federal agencies without having to put out an RFP
• form joint ventures and teams to bid on contracts
• participate in the Mentor-Protégé program

We are open to offers to participate in the Mentor-Protégé program.  The Mentor will be be able to enter into a joint-venture agreement with NuRelm to compete for government contracts.
